SNEAK PREVIEW / PRESS RELEASE
April 30, 2002, Cincinnati, Ohio
CareerServicesOnline.com has just announced that they have developed a suite of on-line applications software for college and university career services offices. The applications are fully customized to a college or university’s look and image and are designed to increase the productivity of career services administration as well as improve career services offices’ employer relationship management. The suite of applications, “CSO Manager”, includes:
Career Fair Manager:
is a full-featured application for managing the entire process of scheduling and running a face-to-face event, and can be used multiple times annually for different events, such as a job fair, part-time jobs and work-study fair, or an internship fair.
Virtual Career Fair:
offers a 24/7 opportunity to run multiple events annually on-line, permitting more employers, students and alumni to participate regardless of their location, size, recruiting staff, schedule or budget.
Career Advisor Network:
is an application that permits maintenance and use of information by alumni, students, and
friends of a college or university for networking, community building, and job and internship
opportunity identification and reporting with a minimum of administration by career services and alumni office staff.
These applications permit career services officers to focus more attention on employer development and student and alumni relationships rather than time-consuming administrative tasks.
Other modules of CSO Manager are under development, and CareerServicesOnline.com invites college and university career services offices to collaborate in developing other modules and applications.
